A little more about me

I bring myriad experience into my practice

Before becoming as a therapist, I worked in the creative industries. I held leadership positions at several major institutions and understand the pressure of those roles, the impact of them as well as the joy that the Arts contributes to the world.

Fascinated by character, stories and humans, becoming a therapist feels like a natural continuation - to continue to explore ways of working with people and their stories.

My own journey into therapy started over 10 years ago, and I approach my work honouring how that first session felt and the path it opened for me.

My Qualifications
& Experience

I trained at Homa London, qualifying on their intensive, experiential, face-to-face four-year training in humanistic psychotherapy and counselling.

During my training I volunteered at Creators House, working with young Creatives without the financial means to access therapy and Feelings Matter in Hackney, providing low cost therapy for those who need it.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and abide by their ethical framework.

I have worked extensively embedding EDI and Accessibility into my working practices.

I am committed to providing a space that is inclusive and respectful of all.

Love After Love

The time will come

when, with elation,

you will greet yourself arriving

at your own door, in your own mirror

and each will smile at the other’s welcome,

and say, sit here. Eat.

You will love again the stranger who was your self.

Give wine. Give bread, Give back your heart

to itself, to the stranger who has loved you

all your life, whom you ignored

for another, who knows you by heart.

Take down the love letters from the bookshelf

the photographs, the desperate notes,

peel your own image from the mirror.

Sit. Feast on your life.
